
Lisa Powers is a Paralegal at Herbert & Weiss, and a Certified Divorce Coach, trained Divorce Transition & Recovery Coach as well as a Licensed Social Worker with more than 20 years of experience.
She has a Master’s degree in Social Work and also holds certifications in Collaborative Divorce Coaching, Parent Coordination, Project Management, and Intimate Partner Violence Advocacy.
In her role as Paralegal, she brings a valuable legal perspective that helps clients better understand the divorce process, communicate effectively with their attorney, and stay organized and informed every step of the way. With this support clients receive constructive tools to manage conflict and stress and to approach the divorce process with clarity and confidence.
As a divorced mother of two children, she understands firsthand the challenges that clients face during their divorce. Relying on her legal knowledge, clinical skills, personal experience, in conjunction with her compassion, she supports clients in navigating both the emotional and practical aspects of divorce, guiding them toward stability, strength, and positive outcomes for themselves and their families.
